Ok, so it is still the first week of January...essentially... but WalMart had sweethearts... and I LOVE sweethearts.
And my love has magnified... they changed the flavors (slightly) so the pink now actually tastes more like strawberry and the purple don't taste horrible... and they added blue! Yum!
I am happy now...

Car I'm likely getting after leaving for Boulder:
Mercury Mariner Hybrid or
Ford Escape Hybrid (with Sync :D)
Same company and car basically, but small diffs that make me prefer a Merc.
Why an SUV? Because my Olds and Andy's RWD Marquis won't handle Colorado winter commutes well... or ski trips.
Car I'm getting myself after I graduate:
Acura TL SH-AWD with Technology Package

Hokay, the results for Puppyleech Plushies poll seems to be a follows:
Dalmatian: 14
Husky: 12
Wolf: 10
Rottweiler: 6
Beagle: 6
Retriever: 3
Poodle: 2
Bull Terrier: 2
Alsatian: 1
Chinchilla: 1
Australian Shepherd Dog: 1
Pyrenees: 1
Wolfhound: 1
Basset: 1
Collie: 1
Custom Puppyleech: 1
Now, bare in mind that is goes on peoples first choice, i.e. the first one they mentioned. I must admit, I'm rather surprised by the results, for example, I was expecting more collies then one (or maybe that’s just me), a few more Alsatians and at least one greyhound! Funny how things turn out!
In a while, there will be a final run-up of choices for people to vote on the winning Puppyleech design that'll be submitted to Patched Together to be made into a plushie! However, if things go well, there's a chance more and more breeds might be submitted too! I guess it's a case of watch this space!
Also, if you have a drawing o a Puppyleech, and want it put up on Falgrove, the home of Puppyleeches, please do send me an email to ash(at)skarrbag[dot]net with the following things:
-Your name
-Your gallery/website link
-The art in an attachment
-A short paragraph of information about the art/the Puppyleech!

Character names meme

Haha was speaking of terrible names I was conversing with, here is a meme about character names and origins of characters and said names.
Write out the names of your characters and explain:
1.) How you thought of their name.
2.) What made you create the character in the first place.
3.) How the character has changed over time (If they have changed).
4.) Any random fun fact about that character.
( Characters Talon, DJ, Dayma, Truda, Dameon and Cyris )
also, lineart is going slow, comic may be friday. Part of me wants to make the current file size smaller for faster inking but I think I may regret it if I ever start printing some time in the late future.

Throwaway Movies

A few posts back I mentioned something I call "Throwaway Movies." These are films where you can't remember after a year or so if you saw it or not. This is usually due to having an inane plot or it just contains so many Hollywood cliches that it blends in with so many other movies. I experienced that last night. Since "Terminator 4" is now available on dvd, it was added to the Netflix queue. I figured I should also add "T3" to the list since I didn't think I had seen it. Well, I popped it into the dvd player last night. After about 30 minutes things started looking a little familiar. After an hour I finally remembered the ending. Oh yeah. I HAD seen it before. *facepaws* I must have been really drunk or sleepy when I first saw it, it was just that bad of a movie, or a combination of the 2.

Due to today's day off being cencelled, looks like it'll be an 8 day working week for me. Fun times!
*Edit*
Forgot: My boss is awesome. Unlike most retail places, he worked it so that I get a day off tomorow. Looks like I'll be able to cach up on work, if not have the bank appointment.

Got a email from MedDropDane indicating two Med Drops for 2010: June 5th and October 2nd. Mark your calendars and safely dispose of those old meds (prescription and over the counter, human and pet, legal and illegal) as well as things like vitamins and supplements.
The website isn't updated yet, but hopefully will be shortly. http://www.meddropdane.org/index.ht m
I went to both last year. They were usually 9am-1pm, and were drive-thru. No questions asked, they don't even look in the bag you hand them till you leave. They were collecting things like zipcodes on a voluntary basis, to see which areas were responding to these drives.

Comic Thumbs, pg 1 and 2

Did some sketches for thumbnails for the first two official pages for my comic. Though hey, does anyone know if it is possible to re-name a community and if so, how? Thinking about changing the armaina_manga community to armacomics, seems better, 'manga' just seems silly.
( 2 'Thumbnail' comics )
Obviously this is just general ideas of the page layout, I like them well enough. The cover itself was published on the site today, seems like I just might go with Comic Press, even if Wordpress is a pain to customize. Was thinking a Tues Thurs update schedual but think I might change it it a Mon Thurs update instead.
